SCHOTT Gemtron entered the metal business with an experienced metal fabrication management team
2012
MBO of the metal business/creation of IMS
SCHOTT Gemtron corporation, a joint venture between SCHOTT Corporation and AGC Glass Company North America, and Integrated Metal Solutions, LLC are both pleased to announce the completion of the management buyout of SCHOTT Gemtron’s Madisonville Metal Division. SCHOTT Gemtron and Integrated Metal Solutions, LLC have also entered into a strategic long term supply agreement to ensure SCHOTT Gemtron’s metal components needs. The transaction was completed on November 1, 2012.
2013
Integrated Metal Solutions is featured in an article in the national trade publication “The Fabricator”.
2014
Received the “Rising Star Award” from the Economic Development Corporation for economic achievement and growth.
2017
Integrated Metal Solutions achieves employment milestone by doubling employment since the 2012 startup.
